The international Italian food fair "Cibus" has definitely become a must, which all the F&B stakeholders around Italy, Europe and further cannot miss. And we did not.
From the 31st August to the 3rd September, our team members, from Metafora Group and Euro Healthy Foods, travelled all the way from Naples and Hong Kong to join this landmark event, held in Parma, the cradle of the Italian food excellence.
For a food import-export company like ours, Cibus represents a strategic gateway to explore and source new products, to build new business relationships, as well as to be updated about the latest F&B industry's developments and innovations.
This year, Cibus 2021 gave us the chance to meet a great variety of new companies and to launch new partnerships with them.
Among the new suppliers that we successfully acquired, we can count:
Caseificio Storico Amatrice, an artisanal cheese producer nestled in the Gran Sasso National Park; Rosso Gargano, a leader in the Italian tomato preserves' export in Japan; Polenghi (NewLat group), a food company worth of 15 production facilities around Italy; Morelli Funghi e Tartufi, a fast-growing and family-rooted company, specialized in truffle and mushrooms' production.
In a nutshell, Cibus has been a fruitful experience to expand our network, always worth a business trip... and we are already waiting for the next one!
